"YOU DON'T MAKE A PHOTOGRAPH JUST WITH A CAMERA. YOU BRING TO THE ACT OF PHOTOGRAPHY ALL THE PICTURES YOU HAVE SEEN, THE BOOKS YOU HAVE READ, THE MUSIC YOU HAVE HEARD & THE PEOPLE YOU HAVE LOVED"
-ANSEL ADAMS
Sometimes I think I was born with a camera in my hand. Pictures were always so important & as a small child I would look at family albums & pictures for hours on end. As I grew up there was not a part of life that I did not want to photograph. By the time I was 22 I was working in camera stores & self learning every aspect of photography. I began doing weddings, family portraits, children, & still life. In my heart though from the time I was 10 & saw my first National Geographic magazine I wanted to be a National Geographic Photographer travelling the world photographing Nature & Places.
I LOVE being outdoors & exploring & I'm always looking forward to the next adventure in life! It doesn't matter if I'm travelling to a exotic location or exploring my beautiful Canadian backyard, I always find beauty in everything I see. My family & friends is what continues to inspire me and I love sharing my art with everyone!
Many of my images are created in camera & do not have much in the way of editing, but the way I truly have fun is experimenting & learning new techniques. I incorporate Photoshop, Lightroom, Plug-Ins, Textures etc to enhance my creativity.
I am so blessed to be able to do what I love & what I was born to do! I hope that you not only see what I see but also what I feel & that every image leaves an impression in your heart.
These are my Artistic Visions through Photography....Enjoy!
